In the event of a tornado warning today the Methodist Church basement will be open for anyone in need. You will need to use the East basement door!

Edited to add: The Christian Church will also have their basement open! Use the East door

The siren in White City is a test. It is done on the second Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. to make sure they are working properly.

ROAD CONTRUCTION NOTICE:

Smoky Hill Construction has started brick removal on Mackenzie Street (Highway 4).

There will be no parking at all on Mackenzie Street between Grand and Main.

Grand, Adolph and Main Streets will all be closed on the south side of Mackenzie Street.

The north side of Mackenzie Street will remain open for east and west bound traffic.

When the south side is completed, they will begin the north side.
Total construction is anticipated to last 110 days.

Residents can enter city hall through the back door in the alley, call in your payment to 785-349-2228 or pay onlie at www.whitecityks.net

The City of White City is looking for someone to set new light poles at the ball fields for the ball field lighting. The lights on the old poles will need to be removed and placed on new poles. Please contact the city office at 785-349-2228 for more information.
