My platform focuses on the action of bettering all areas of our Town in order to reach a stage of Excellence and Growth we desire to have!

All core areas of a growing municipality are the focus:

● Excellent budget management.
● Community Relations- open line of communication with citizens.
● Work collaboratively with the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, Chief of Police, and other Officials.
● Improving and modernizing infrastructure, drainage, and waterworks.
● A more innovative municipality.
● Educational and recreational programs for our youth.
● Increase in Housing development, removal of blighted properties, and promote a cleaner community.
● Seek more business and economic development opportunities that will thrive in small, commuter towns.
● Work collaboratively with officials to formulate a transparent and relational plan to ensure a safer community for residents.
● Promote a safe, healthy, and serene environment for Senior citizens to engage in.
● Seek funding for low income assistance opportunities for those in need.
● Continue to foster a unified community with events and programs that promote a sense of togetherness among community members.

Together it can be done! As an educator, we’re often told to start with the End in mind. Here’s my end (goal) for a better White Castle!

After three weeks of canvassing the community of White Castle, we have finally completed this phase of the campaign. I enjoyed talking with each residing citizen of this community that shared of their vision and ideas of betterment. It takes everyone working as ONE & I am committed as I’ve always been to seeing the best for White Castle. Thanks to my Mom, Parish Councilwoman Shalanda Allen for her hardwork and pushing day to day to get the job done! In addition, today was the final day for early voting. If you have a mail in ballot, please be sure to have it mailed in to the Ibeville Office of Registrar Voters by Monday, November 7, 2022, 4:30pm.

As always let’s remember to get out on th final day of voting which is Tuesday, November 8, 2022. The polling place for White Castle will be at the White Castle Community Center from 6:00am-8:00pm. Use your personal thinking and vote.

Early Voting Starts Today! To the Citizens of White Castle & all within the two WC voting precincts, this is your time to get active and vote. For anyone that has to work or will be out of town on the November 8th election, this week is a perfect week to vote. Beat the Election Day wait and lines by taking part in early voting. Early voting will take place at the Iberville Parish Courthouse Oct. 25th - Nov. 1st, 8:00am-6:00pm. Please make sure to bring your I.D. and view a sample ballot for your precinct at www.geauxvote.com.

I, Chamarcus D. Lewis, announce my candidacy for the seat of Alderman of the Town of White Castle.

As I reflected and prayed on the decision, I realized that every aspect of my life has been rooted in the place I call home- White Castle. When asked where I’m from, I respond with GREAT PRIDE, and later become known as Chamarcus from White Castle! Everyone know how much I represent for TOWN & Bulldog Nation. I say that to say, this place has made me who I am today. I grew up here, educated within the schools of this community, volunteered my time here serving the youth while matriculating through college, and now serve as an Educator here for the past 9 years. It was without a doubt that I knew it was time to take my pride for WC to the next level and seek a position that would allow me to serve all for the betterment of our community. I am committed to giving back the knowledge and leadership skills that I’ve gained along the way. We have seen improvements overtime, and now it’s time that we continue to progress as we seek more for our Town. We too can be a Town of Growth & Excellence. During the election process, I will be open to hearing from you on your ideas for an even better White Castle.
