Ohio County, WV – A portion of WV 2, near 46 River Road, in Wheeling, will have a lane restriction, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., through late June, for a main gas line replacement. A temporary traffic light or flaggers will maintain traffic. Motorists are advised to slow down and expect delays.

Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project schedule

The National Weather Service has confirmed at least six tornadoes touched down across southwestern Pennsylvania on June 6, 2026, including several EF1 tornadoes with winds up to 110 mph. These tornadoes developed quickly within a line of severe thunderstorms and caused damage to homes, trees, and infrastructure.

This serves as an important reminder that tornadoes can occur in our region with little warning.
