IMPACT Community Coalition

- A community coalition aimed at reducing and preventing substance use in Ohio County.

- We meet monthly, either virtually or in-person, to discuss our efforts, activities, events, and ideas.

- We are always looking for youth participants ages 12-18 and new adult members. Open to anyone in the community!

-Impact’s membership includes these 12 areas: youth, parents, business, media, school, youth service, law enforcement, religious, civic groups, healthcare, state & local government, and organizations specializing in substance misuse.

- Each county in the state has a coalition, IMPACT is focused on Ohio County, WV.

We'd love to see you next Thursday for a community gathering at Valley Grove Volunteer Fire Department! RSVP is requested, as we will be providing dinner. Children will have their own group and learn about strategies for handling stress. Bring a friend and we'll see you there.

With school being out and the kids at home, don't skip your recovery meetings.
On Sunday, June 7th, Youth Services System, Inc. will have prevention activities for the kids during the 7pm meeting. The only requirement is that you have the desire to work on your recovery. You are not alone!

We are proud to share an upcoming event at Valley Grove Volunteer Fire Department! Open to residents of Valley Grove and Triadelphia along with first responders and community members who were impacted by the flooding in June 2025.

Bring your kids! They will have their own activities

Great turnout for the NAMI Mental Health resource fair at Food Truck festival! Thank you for everyone’s support and collaboration on this and to The Health Plan for making it happen 💗

For the month of May, we will be there:
5/10 (Mother’s Day 💐) and 5/17
From 7-8:30.

We will discuss at our coalition meeting on 5/13 how to gather more volunteers to help us grow this youth group!
