A couple of days have passed and we have all had a chance to take a deep breath and relax. Well deserved. However, I can't stop thinking about and delighting in what Our Community accomplished. To say that the final results were hard to believe is an understatement. Our Community said YES to Our Children and their educational experiences 1,875 to 442; 81% to 19%! If you don't know, that is an astonishing passing rate in the state of Indiana. Potentially the best ever in a public school operating fund referendum. (We are doing some research to find out.) Unbelievable!

So THANK YOU to Mike Jessen, Kevin Ribordy, and Christine Kostbade, our fearless PAC leaders. THANK YOU to the 40+ PAC committee volunteers who donated their time and talents on many occasions in many ways. But most of all THANK YOU to the 1,875 Union Township residents who voted YES and supported Our Children and Our Schools! We are eternally grateful and exceptionally proud of Our Community.

We are still waiting for absentee ballots to be counted but wanted to give you an update, all precincts counted for in person voting today and well...you are stomping it! We are cautiously optimistic and want to thank you all for your support from the bottom of our hearts! The numbers have painted a picture of overwhelming support! THANK YOU! 🧡💚🧡💚🧡💚

The locations are taking every precaution to keep voters and workers safe, and we hear there are no lines at all. We are very lucky that one of three early voting locations is conveniently located in Union Township. Please vote yes and encourage your friends and family to vote yes! Our Children’s educational experiences are at stake!
