In Observance of Labor Day The DuPage County Recorder’s Office will be closed on Monday, September 7.

Labor Day is more than a day off. It is an opportunity to recognize the generations of working men and women who fought for many of the workplace protections we benefit from today, including the eight-hour workday, the five-day workweek, safer working conditions, and fair treatment on the job.

This Labor Day, we honor their hard work, perseverance, and the progress they helped make possible for working families across our country.

We wish you a safe and happy Labor Day!

The Comptroller also serves as a “fiscal watchdog” to ensure that all state payments comply with the law. The Comptroller’s primary focus is the management of state funds — revenue receipts and spending.
