Hello! My name is Betsy Williams, and I am delighted to share that I will be teaching 4th and 5th grade Math and Science at Wheaton Elementary this fall. I will be the 5th grade homeroom teacher. I am looking forward to becoming part of the positive school community and proudly joining the Wheaton Bulldog family!

I graduated from MSSU in 2021 and have been teaching ever since. Over the past two years, I have taught 4th grade, and I am excited for the opportunity to work with both 4th and 5th grade students this year. I love to garden, crochet, and to snuggle with my cat and dog (sometimes at the same time)! I look forward to meeting families and students in August!

Summer school begins tomorrow 5/26! Doors open at 7:50am. Students who are dropped off in the morning will enter the gate near the cafeteria (same as the school year). All students get free breakfast and lunch! We look forward to seeing students back on campus tomorrow.

We are incredibly grateful to the Auxiliary of the VFW Post 4207 (Monett) for their generous donation of $5,300 to our Wheaton Elementary Special Education team! 🇺🇸💙

This gift will go directly toward creating a new self-contained classroom in our elementary building—an exciting step forward in supporting the needs of our students and enhancing their learning environment.

We truly appreciate this amazing act of kindness and investment in our school community. Partnerships like this make a real difference in the lives of our students and staff every single day.

Field Day fun in the books! 🎉💙🐾

What an incredible morning of laughter, teamwork, and energy as our students enjoyed Field Day together! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate for our usual outdoor plans, Coach J did an AMAZING job pivoting on the spot and creating a fun-filled experience inside for everyone. 🙌

We are so grateful for her quick thinking, flexibility, and all the hard work that went into making the day so special for our students.

A huge thank you as well to PTCO for providing snacks & drinks, and helping keep everyone fueled and happy throughout the celebration! 🍎💛 Your support makes such a difference for our school community. Thank you high school students for your help!

Field Day may have looked a little different this year, but the joy, smiles, and memories were just as big as ever! 🌟
