Since 2015, 13 residents of a veterans’ home have died from Legionnaires’ disease. Eleven families are suing the state.

Non-profit executive Jack Wuest of Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood has made 56 Illinois campaign contributions in 2017. That’s 55 to Democrats and one, for $500 on Sept. 30, to Illinois House Minority Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs).

Mickey Straub kicked off his 2018 run to unseat Rep. Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) in the 82nd District with a nostalgic vow to his constituents reecently.
