Life Happens - We Got You Covered!

Did you know you don’t have to wait for Open Enrollment to get health coverage through Get Covered Illinois? If you’ve recently experienced a big life change, you might qualify for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) — but act fast! You typically have 60 days from the event to enroll or update your plan. ⏳

✅ You may qualify if you’ve:
• Lost job-based or Medicaid coverage
• Turned 26 and aged off your parents’ plan
• Gotten married 💍 or had/adopted a baby 👶
• Moved to a new ZIP code 📦
• Become a U.S. citizen 🇺🇸
• Left incarceration

Illinois’ WIC processor is currently down statewide.

Your WIC card will not work at any store throughout the state. The state of Illinois is actively working to resolve this as quickly as possible. Your WIC agency is not able to help with this issue.
