Join Culinary Historians of Northern Illinois and the Museum to dig our forks into the tantalizing history of Duncan Hines on June 11 at 7P. Welcome back to our Discover DuPage series! This month’s feature is the Itasca Historical Depot Museum! Part of the and originally built in 1873, this beautifully preserved museum tells the story of the village’s railroad roots and the people who helped shape the community. There’s also a restored 1939 rib-side caboose that train enthusiasts of all ages will enjoy. They’re located at 101 North Catalpa in Itasca, and summer hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-3pm, the 1st/3rd Wednesday from 4-8pm, and the 2nd/4th Saturday from 11am-3pm.
