Seven years ago, Chris Lynn Chris Lynn walked into Seniors Resource Center and got to work.
Today, we say thank you. ๐
Yesterday we gathered with friends, partners, and supporters to celebrate Chris's seven years as President & CEO, and to honor a legacy built on one simple conviction: people are our why.
When Chris joined SRC in 2019, the organization had real work ahead. He leaves it stronger, steadier, and ready to grow. Under his leadership, SRC now serves more than 11,000 older adults every year through nearly 67,000 hours of care: adult day programs, in-home care, caregiver support, care management, and more. But the numbers only tell part of the story. What Chris really built was a culture, one rooted in equity, respect, and the belief that the quality of care we deliver is only as strong as the people delivering it.
As our Board Chair Jessica Dunbar put it, "Chris has been a transformational leader for SRC. He inherited an organization that needed significant work, and he leaves us stronger, more stable, and ready to grow."
In his farewell to staff, Chris reminded us that in a world too often defined by division, there are people who live each day in peace, helpfulness, and support, and that the care we give can change a life we may never even know about. That's the spirit he leaves behind.
Thank you, Chris, for seven years of heart, humor, hard work, and leadership. The foundation you built is exactly why SRC's future is so bright.
And because we couldn't let you go without one last classic Chris dad joke:
When is a retiree's bedtime?
Three hours after he falls asleep on the couch. ๐
Enjoy it, Chris. You've earned every minute. ๐ฅ
