Chapman, here they come!🐾

This week, 5th graders across the district got a sneak peek at life at Chapman Middle School as each class visited the building to begin their transition to next year. Students became acquainted with the building, learned about what to expect, and had the opportunity to ask questions of our incredible Wildcat Leaders.

Thank you to Chapman staff and student leaders for helping make this huge transition a little easier...and a lot more exciting!

Civic engagement was in the spotlight at Chapman today!

This morning, Chapman’s 8th graders presented their work at the annual Civics Fair, showcasing projects that tackle real issues affecting our schools and community.

Working in teams, students identified causes they care about, researched potential solutions, and advocated for change by engaging with school leaders, Town officials, and other stakeholders. Topics ranged from updating the turf field at Weymouth High School and expanding access to healthcare to easing the transition from elementary to middle school.

Bravo to our students for their thoughtful research and creativity, and thanks to Mr. Poirier and the Chapman team, who work to bring this event to fruition every year!

🎓🐾 Class of 2026, you did it!!

This is the moment we've all been working toward. From your very first days in our classrooms to today's walk across the graduation stage, every lesson learned, challenge overcome, friendship formed, and milestone reached has led to this incredible achievement.

On behalf of the entire district, congratulations! 🎉

To the teachers, staff, families, and friends who supported our graduates along the way: thank you for the guidance, encouragement, and care that brought us here.

Graduates, we are proud of you, we believe in you, and we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat. 🐾

TFW we watch our soon-to-be graduates walk the halls where they once stood as kindergartners: 🎓🥹❤️

Today, the WHS Class of 2026 returned to the elementary schools where it all began! Our seniors spent the day revisiting familiar hallways, reconnecting with former teachers, and inspiring the next generation of Wildcats. They shared stories, old jokes, and, at Murphy at least, a healthy dose of "6-7" humor that got plenty of laughs from the younger students.

Thank you to our elementary schools for welcoming them back for one last visit before graduation! Senior parents: share your photos of the other school visits in the comments, please!
