Junior cattlemen, registration is now open for the 20th Annual AJCA Round-Up in Montgomery! 🤠

Hosted by the Alabama Junior Cattlemen's Association, this statewide event provides youth ages 9-21 the opportunity to compete in a variety of contests focused on leadership development and beef industry skills.

Two new contests have been added this year along with updates to existing events. Please review the Official Rules Packet carefully before registering.

Registration closes July 9, 2026, at 11:59 PM.

Last Thursday, Mrs. Courtney had the honor of attending Wetumpka High School Honors Day to present one of our outstanding 4-H’ers with her Alabama 4-H Foundation Scholarship!

Elmore County 4-H & Community, We Need Your Help! 💚

Elmore County 4-H is excited to partner with the Elmore County Farmers Federation Women’s Committee to support an amazing cause!

We are collecting pop tabs that will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Pop Tab Program. These tabs help support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Alabama and the families who call it “home,” by helping cover things like utility bills and essential supplies.

Last Thursday night was truly something special as we celebrated our Youth Leadership Elmore County participants at the YLEC Graduation held at the Millbrook Civic Center. We are so proud of the 35 youth who completed this leadership program, what an incredible accomplishment!

It was an amazing evening filled with recognition, encouragement, and celebration of these outstanding young leaders.
