Our Holtville/Slapout Fire & Rescue Auxillary had a great lunch today at Front Porch Grill to celebrate the birthday's of Jessica and Tom. Mary, Pat and Mimi also celebrated with Chocolate and Strawberry cake.
But no birthday candles because the number of candles could set off the smoke detectors which could bring the fire department. Our fire departments work so hard to protect and serve our community. Our Auxillary is Blessed to be a part of helping the men and women that are members of the Holtville/Slapout Volunteer Fire Department.

For those people that would like to get more involved in our Holtville Slapout community, our Fire Department. Auxillary is meeting at the fire station st 6pm today. Head that way in about one hour and join us. Because the help you can give will be appreciated by many.

Our Easter Bske Sale thia past Saturday was a great seccess. We'd like to thank the owners, managers and staff at Piggly Wiggly for all of their help and support. A special Thank You to our Auxillary ladies, Mary, Lilli, Pat and Jessica for all the cooking Friday night and early Saturday morning. The cakes, brownies, lemon squares, fudge, etc. were all fresh and hand made with loving care. And Thank You to Bradley, Ryan, Danny and Bill for your contributions.
They say it takes a Village to raise a Child.
Well it takes a Community to support a Fire Department and the fire department Auxillary. To those people that visited Piggly Wiggly and bought our great baked goods---- a special THANK YOU to you. Our hard work and dedication was worth it and very successful do to you supporting our Fundraiser.

This is a reminder that our Holtville/ Slapout Fire & Rescue Board of Directors meeting is TONIGHT beginning promptly at 7pm. The meeting usually last 1 hour. We encourage our community to join our meeting for information and question about recruitment, training and operations. We expect rain tonight so please drive carefully if you can join us.
