This afternoon while a gentle rain falls, I sit here on my front porch reflecting on this campaign journey. Because it is a journey. God’s plan for me is to continue to serve the people of our great nation. I want each of you to know, whether you supported me or not, I don’t take this lightly. To know that God has laid out this path for me, can be overwhelming. However, I was reminded this morning that, “he doesn’t call the equipped, he equips the called.”

Some incumbents will return to our positions of responsibility to the people and our nation. Some will begin a new season in January. Others will return to their respective jobs, and a few candidates will continue on this campaign trail. Each trying to make a difference whatever the outcome.

I hope that the candidates that I met on this journey and the people I met along the way, know that I am a child of God. That I do my best to be a reflection of him.

To my family, friends, and supporters, mvto for taking the time to pray, vote, and for believing in me.

To my girls, mvto for understanding that I’m not always available to you or for the grandkids. But know y’all are always on my mind.

To my husband of forty one years, mvto for believing in me, encouraging me, praying for me, and always seeing more in me than I see in myself. I am blessed.

Early voting is tomorrow and Thursday. Precinct locations are Okemah, Eufaula, Okmulgee, and Tulsa. Exercise your right to vote.

Come rain or shine, we were ready for the Henryetta Labor Day parade. Thankful and blessed to have support of family.

The pickles and pickle juice were a hit! So much so, we ran out before we got to the end of the parade.
