Saturday, May 16th 8 a.m. – Noon
At Wood Island Landfill M-28 East

Dumping fees will be paid by Munising Township.

Two roll-offs in Shingleton near the basketball court on Park Street during the same time period.

NO MATTRESSES OR BOX SPRINGS
NO TIRES, NO TVS

NO yard waste (leaves, grass clippings, branches, etc.)
NO liquid waste (stains, oils, pesticides, car fluids, etc.)
NO freon appliances (air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, etc.)

Township Of Munsing Residents/property owners ONLY
Proof of residency (drivers’ license/tax bill) is required.

Munising Township offices will be closed today, Tuesday, March 17th, as we get the snow cleaned up from the Blizzard of 2026.

Office hours for the week of March 2nd will be Monday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We will be closed on Friday, March 6th. Regular hours of Tuesday through Friday from 10-2 will resume the week of March 9th.

Munising Township Board meeting scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Munising Township Hall. A public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2026/27 will also be held during this meeting. Agenda will be posted on website prior to meeting.

The Munising Township Board of Review will meet Monday, March 9th 2026 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday March 10th 2026 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in open session to hear appeals at the Munising Township Hall. E9630 Prospect st. Wetmore mi. “
