Congrats to JoAnna French - Westwood School Committee on her re election to school committee and Katie Willette and Nick Vidnovic on election to the school committee. I look forward to working with all three to continue excellence in our schools. Thank you to Matthew Donahue- Westwood School Committee for running and forwarding the conversation on importance of supporting all learners in our Westwood schools.

Finally, a shout out my daughter Maggie who became the youngest Westwood resident in history to make it on the official results with her 25 votes for Sewer commissioner! Hoping she doesn't challenge me in the next election!

With Westwood student voices front and center, it’s great to see NBC Boston highlight the town’s success story on why later high school start times matter for teens well-being. With our Rep. Paul McMurtry leading statewide legislation, it’s exciting to see this conversation gaining momentum across Massachusetts!

Massachusetts students would get to sleep in a bit longer under a new proposal to mandate that schools start later in the morning so kids can get more sleep.
