When I met with Elizabeth Moro for coffee (O.J.) a few months ago, I shared something that’s been weighing on me — sometimes, the people of Westtown don’t feel heard. I’ve watched residents speak up during Board of Supervisors meetings, only to be brushed aside or disregarded.
While canvassing and hosting Meet & Greets, I’ve heard that concern echoed time and again: once supervisors are elected, it can feel like they stop listening. That’s not the kind of supervisor I ever want to be. I believe the best ideas — and the best communities — come from listening to one another and finding creative solutions together.
And here’s where Elizabeth gets the credit — over that cup of coffee, she said, “You should call yourself a Supervisor for the People.” I laughed, because it did sound a little like a Morgan & Morgan commercial… but you know what? She’s right.
So, at the risk of sounding like a commercial, I’ll say it proudly:
I will be a Supervisor for the People of Westtown.
Let’s keep the conversations going, keep the ideas flowing, and keep building a Westtown where every voice is heard.
