COOLING CENTERS OPEN IN WESTPORT

With dangerous heat expected through the weekend, residents are encouraged to take advantage of local cooling centers if they do not have access to air conditioning or need relief from the heat.

Cooling centers are available at:

• Westport Center for Senior Activities
• The Westport Library
• Westport Weston Family YMCA
• MoCA Westport
• Westport Museum for History and Culture

Heat index values may exceed 100°F during the afternoon hours. Stay hydrated, limit outdoor activity, and check on older adults, young children, and neighbors who may need assistance.

A special thank you to Melissa Bernstein and Dan Woog for joining us today to help kick off Mental Health Awareness Month. Melissa shared her powerful personal journey of finding light and meaning, and we were grateful to Dan for guiding such a thoughtful and engaging conversation.
