Do you need support but you don't feel like your problems are big enough? This year’s theme, “988 Reasons: Your reason is reason enough,” reminds us that you don’t have to be in crisis to reach out.

Pretty cool initiative coming up this weekend from Artists Collective of Westport, the League of Women Voters Westport, the David T. Langrock Foundation, and “06880.”

On September 6, 2026, EVERY Westporter is invited to submit up to three photos taken in Westport on that day anytime in that 24 hour period between 12:00am to 11:59pm. All appropriate images will eventually be displayed on a public website, and later a selection will be curated for a local exhibit and possibly a book.

This year's theme, "988 Reasons: Your reason is reason enough," is a reminder that you don't have to be in crisis to reach out. Whatever you're facing - big or small - your reason for seeking support is reason enough.
