Due to inclement weather, the Westport Memorial Day Parade scheduled for Monday, May 25, 2026, has been cancelled.

The Memorial Day Ceremony will still take place and has been moved indoors to the Town Hall Auditorium beginning at 10:00 AM.

Thank you for your understanding, and we hope you will still join us as we gather to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Due to the weather forecast, Westport Parks & Recreation’s annual Kickoff to Summer event at Compo Beach has been postponed for sunnier days. ☀️

A new date will be announced soon. We can’t wait to start the summer together at the beach soon!

Have thoughts on the future of parks and recreation in Westport? Join us for the final public forum for the Parks Master Plan on Monday, May 11 at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall Auditorium.

This is the community’s final opportunity to provide input and help shape the future of Westport’s parks, beaches, recreation facilities, and open spaces.
