Bettis Asphalt will begin asphalt patching and overlaying the following streets and areas on 6/15/26. We expect it to be completed by 6/18/26 weather permitting. Due to the work, access to properties along these streets will be limited until the work is completed. We ask that you park away from the work areas on nearby streets out of the way of construction. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact Robert during normal business hours at 785-456-4392.

Beginning next week, there will be notices sent from our attorney for yards not mowed. After the notice, if not compliant, the City will mow and will invoice for the fee of mowing. There will be no further notices sent after the first letter sent in the calendar year. Please don’t let it get this far. Reminder to keep weeds at a minimum, this includes around structures and must be maintained under 12 inches in height. We appreciate those who have kept their yards mowed to help our town look nice.
