The Raise the Rim Committee sincerely thanks Larkspur Conservation for its generous $1,000 donation to our campaign!
Larkspur Conservation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring land across Tennessee through natural burial practices that heal the earth and offer sanctuary.
Its Taylor Hollow preserve is located right here in the Westmoreland community at 155 Bear Carr Road. In addition to providing families with meaningful natural-burial options, this permanently protected natural area offers opportunities for hiking, birdwatching, remembrance and quiet reflection.

I wanted to give everybody a quick update on the Raise the Rim Basketball Court Renovation Campaign at T.F. Carter Park

As of this update on August 18, 2026, we are now about one-third of the way toward our $35,000 goal.

This project means a lot to me personally, but it means even more for our kids, families, and community. These courts have been part of Westmoreland for a long time, and it is time to bring them back to life in a way our community can be proud of.

I’m thankful for every person, family, business, and organization that has already stepped up to help. Whether you have donated, shared the campaign, volunteered, or simply encouraged us along the way — it all matters.

We still have work to do, but we are making real progress.

🏁 WE DID IT — And What a Day It Was! 🏁

The Westmoreland Parks and Recreation First Annual 5K Run is officially in the books, and we are still on a high from the incredible energy, smiles, and community spirit that filled the park! 🙌❤️

From the moment runners lined up under that stunning balloon arch to the final steps across the finish line, this event was everything we hoped it would be — and so much more. Seeing so many familiar faces, young runners, families, and friends come together for a great cause reminded us exactly WHY we do this.
