Due to the forecast of impending severe weather on Thursday, June 11, 2026, between 5 and 9pm, Westmont Cruisin’ Nights has been modified and Cass Avenue will NOT be closed for reserved car show parking. However, customers are still invited to come to downtown Westmont to visit our businesses and eat at our restaurants. NEAT restaurant at 246 N. Cass will have live indoor music. The Planning & Zoning Commission packet for the June 10th meeting is available via the Village's Agenda Center at this link. https://westmontil.portal.civicclerk.com/event/5723/overviewPlease note that though the meeting begins at 6:00 PM, there are four (4) items on the agenda that are not related to the downtown rezonings. It is anticipated that the PZC's review of the first four agenda items may take around 90 minutes to complete. Therefore, the public hearings for the downtown rezonings will begin no earlier than 7:30 PM.

UPDATE - The immediate concern of the gas line repair has been addressed, and as of 11:40 a.m., the Village Hall has re-opened.

ORIGINAL POST - Due to a gas line rupture during construction behind Westmont Village Hall at 31 West Quincy St., the Village Hall has been closed to the public and will remain closed until repairs are completed. Estimated time of completion is uncertain, but will likely continue through the afternoon. Additionally, S. Lincoln St. from Quincy to Richmond is also closed to through traffic. We apologize for any inconvenience. Updates will be posted as they are confirmed.
