This morning I had the honor of participating in the 159th Annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony.

As the guest speaker of the ceremony, ‘Navy Mom Mary’ said, “There is nothing happy about Memorial Day and what it stands for. So stop saying ‘Happy Memorial Day’ and start saying ‘Remember and Honor.’” Memorial Day has become known as the unofficial start of summer and fun activities, but take the time to pause and remember the men and women, and the families they left behind, who gave their lives for our country and freedom!

The Meet & Greet event on Sunday was a success! People are still looking for opportunities to learn about the candidates ahead of the election, and I have had so many great conversations with people across the county. Hearing your concerns, sharing ideas, and answering your questions is extremely important to me.
