We would like to dedicate this year's haunted house in memory of Tony Moore.
The Moore family have always supported us in our events and activities. We wouldn't have been able to start doing annual community hounted houses if it weren't for their generosity. They donated the majority of the decorations, lights, and fog machines for the first year we did this, and we still use most all of that stuff now. Tony was always there for us and we sure do miss him this year. This one's for you Tony! We're going to scare 'em good!

Thanks to Yousef's Kitchen, Jim Smith's Garage, Sander's Automotive, The General Store, and The City of Westminster, the run down, dirty, and dangerous area in the corner of Retreat Street Park has now been brought back to life as an outdoor stage!
Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances, we weren't able to use this for caroling and the official tree lighting ceremony as originally intended; however, it will serve events at the park, large and small, for years to come.

Last year, the town Christmas tree kept tripping the breaker.
This year, Blue Ridge Electric generously provided all new energy efficient LED lights.
Not only do they look amazing, it would take over 100 strands of these to trip the breaker!

It will take place this Friday as originally planned.
