The Westminster Branch Library is a full-service branch of Carroll County Public Library, located in the heart of beautiful downtown Westminster.

Vision: Cultivating community success through inclusion and engagement. Mission: Join us to experience lifelong learning through impactful programs, resources, and services. Currently, our block of Main Street is closed to eastbound traffic. Westbound traffic is able to get through and access our parking lot and outside bookdrop. We hope the emergency utility work is completed quickly.

Please note that our block of Main Street will be closed from approximately 6:45 until 9 PM on Tuesday, October 24 for the American Legion's Annual Halloween Safety Parade. During this time, vehicles will not be able to enter or exit our parking lot and there will not be access to our outside book drop.

Join us on Saturday, October 21 for some creepy crafts and (slightly) spooky stories for kids ages 4 - 11. Stay downtown for more Spooky Saturday events! Please note that Main Street will be closed from noonish until after 6 PM and there will be no access to our parking lot or outside bookdrop.

All CCPL locations will be closed for Staff training on Monday, October 9. We will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, October 10.
