**Foundation to Finish Friday**
It’s Was a Rough(in) Kind of Week! 🔧🚿⚡❤️
What an incredibly successful week at The Home That LOVE Built! 🏠❤️
Week by week, the building is becoming more than a structure—it’s becoming a place we can finally begin to envision filled with people, programs, purpose, and LOVE.
Here’s what happened on site this week:
🧱 The retaining wall is complete!
🪜 Both stairwells have been poured!
🚿 Sprinkler rough-ins have begun!
🔧 MEP rough-ins are now 50% complete!
🪟 Windows have been set!
🚪 Exterior door frames have been set!
🌿 Front porch footings and piers are complete!
And if you thought this week was busy, just wait until you see what’s coming next!
It looks like next week is going to be another rough(in) kind of week, too! 😉
Crews will be busy with:
🚿 Continuing sprinkler rough-ins
🔧 Continuing duct and electrical rough-ins
🚪 Installing exterior doors and frames, along with hardware
⚡ Installing interior electrical panels
🔍 Inspecting the plumbing rough-ins
All of these behind-the-scenes systems may not be the most glamorous part of construction, but they are essential to making The Home That LOVE Built a safe, functional, welcoming place for our community.
And with windows in place, door frames set, stairwells poured, and rooms continuing to take shape, it’s becoming easier and easier to imagine the day when those doors will open—not just for construction crews, but for the people who need us.
Because ultimately, that’s what this building is about.
It’s about creating a permanent space where our neighbors can find help without judgment, compassion without conditions, dignity without question, and hope when they need it most.

The walls, windows, wiring, plumbing, and ductwork are important—but the true heart of this building will be the people who walk through its doors and the LOVE that happens within them. ❤️
And while construction continues, so does our effort to bring the capital campaign home.
We still have naming opportunities available, and we still need our community’s help to complete this project. Every gift, every prayer, and every word of encouragement brings us one step closer to opening the doors.
To our donors, volunteers, prayer warriors, contractors, architects, engineers, tradespeople, and everyone cheering us on—we are incredibly grateful. You are helping build a legacy of LOVE that will serve our community for generations to come.
