**Foundation to Finish Friday**

What a difference a week makes!

Last week, we shared our excitement about the upcoming basement slab pour and the arrival of structural steel. We're thrilled to report that the basement slab has now been poured, marking another major milestone in the construction of The Home That LOVE Built.

The site continues to transform before our eyes. While much of the early work happened below ground, this week's progress represents a significant step toward seeing the building begin to rise. Even more exciting, the structural steel is scheduled to be delivered later today, setting the stage for the next phase of construction.

Looking ahead to next week, crews will begin setting the steel and preparing the site for the framing team. These are the kinds of milestones that dramatically change the appearance of a project and bring the vision one step closer to reality.

Every beam, every wall, and every phase of construction represents something far greater than a building. It represents hope for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, dignity for those facing difficult circumstances, and a community coming together to create lasting change.

As always, we are deeply grateful to our incredible builder, architect, engineers, surveyors, subcontractors, tradespeople, supporters, donors, volunteers, prayer warriors, and everyone following this journey. Your generosity, encouragement, and belief in this vision continue to move this project forward. A special thanks this week to for your time and talents and the fabulous drone shots!

We can't wait to share next week's progress as The Home That LOVE Built continues to take shape!

Back to School Prep is Underway!

Our amazing volunteers are already hard at work packing backpacks with brand new school supplies for this summer's Back to School Program!

Want to register your child?
Please note that our registration process has changed this year!
Instead of calling, you need to stop by in person to register your children to receive a brand-new backpack and supplies.

Where: The Shepherd's Staff, 75 John Street (rear entrance), Westminster
When: Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 10am-2pm, Thursday: 1pm-5pm

Our friends at St. Mary's United Church of Christ are at it again this season with a goal to outscore last year's Canley Cup competition numbers, and my oh my, did they do some serious shopping and donating this year! Five carloads and more on the way at the end of the week! Our Blessings Closet is overflowing and our hearts are full- what a Blessing to the community!!
