I AM RUNNING FOR WESTMINSTER CITY COUNCIL BECAUSE I AM EXTREMELY UPSET WITH THE ACTIONS THE PRESENT COUNCIL IS TAKING:
*The Westminster Mall Project has become a huge cash sponge and a major quality-of-life liability for Westminster citizens, and Council is rushing forward with plans that will make the situation even worse.
*The present Council seems to be embarrassed about our suburban lifestyl
e. I love our suburbs. We should be encouraging the improvement and development of single-family homes, with parks and trails; instead of incentivizing high density projects.
*Westminster has had a period of financial success that is impressive. Why, then, have we ordinary citizens not been sharing in this success? We have been told that we don’t have funds to help and support the needs and desires of the average citizen, yet we have plenty of funding available for gold plated project that are the dreams of only a few.
*I, along with like-minded candidates Debbie Bergamo and Jason Blanckaert; will give Westminster a meaningful choice. We promise to work with existing council member Bruce Baker, to form a “New Majority”, and take the City and City Government in a different direction.
