What a game! It came down to the wire as Public Safety mounted an exciting bottom-of-the-9th rally that nearly completed an incredible comeback. Fans were treated to a night full of action, with dozens of balls sailing over the fence, highlight-reel catches, great plays, and plenty of friendly trash talk, laughs, and good times along the way!

A huge thank you to all of the amazing players, volunteers, and supporters who helped make tonight such a success. Special shoutout to our guest kid announcers, who brought plenty of personality to the broadcast, and to Cody for keeping things in check behind the plate!

Most of all, thank you to everyone who came out and helped make it a fantastic community evening in Westminster. Nights like these are what community is all about—we can’t wait to do it again next year!

FINAL DECISION!! Game Time: SUNDAY @ 5:00PM!

We admit there has been some confusion regarding the start time to Sunday's Police/Fire vs Coaches/Volunteers Softball Game. But after the back and forth of player and field availability, and now a final decision based on weather, the game is scheduled to start at 5:00PM on Sunday the 7th!

The actual field (softball vs major) is to be determined based on conditions after the rain. And should the weather or field conditions not cooperate, we will reschedule by 2:00PM and post on social media with an update.

We appreciate the support and understanding as we navigate the weather! We are still hoping for an amazing community night!

Mother Nature is playing the rainy weekend game again this year!

Unfortunately, with a high probability of drenching thunderstorms coming through right at the start of our movie showing, we have decided to POSTPONE the movie night to Saturday, June 13th with the same time, place, location and details.

The Town of Westminster's 5th Grade Flag Day Contest is officially underway! Yesterday/Today contest flyers were sent home with all 5th grade students at Westminster Elementary School, inviting them to take part in this special celebration of our nation's history and heritage.

This contest is just one of several events planned throughout the year as America commemorates its 250th anniversary. We can't wait to see the creativity and patriotism our students bring to their designs!

Important Dates:
📅 Submission Deadline: June 8th
🏛️ Winning Entries Presented: June 15th at the Select Board Meeting (winners will be notified at the end of the week)
🖼️ All Contest Entries Displayed: Town Hall

We encourage all 5th graders to participate and help Westminster celebrate this historic milestone. Good luck to all of our young artists—we look forward to seeing your creations!

As we gear up for another exciting Summer Rec season, we’re reaching out to our amazing community for help stocking up on supplies and equipment — and giving local kids an even bigger, better summer experience!

Do you have sports equipment your kids have outgrown? Old games, craft supplies, toys, or outdoor equipment collecting dust? We’d love to give them a second life through our Parks & Rec programs!

We also welcome donations of brand-new items that could help enhance our programming throughout the summer, such as arts and crafts supplies, tie-dye kits, balloons, perler beads (ohhh so many beads), and so much more!

If you have something you’d like to donate — or would like to chat about ideas — please reach out to [email protected].

Every donated item helps stretch our budget further, allowing us to bring in even MORE fun for the kids this summer, including:

We now have pickleball courts on the basketball court next to Town Hall. Bring your own net (for now) and feel free to play!

We ask that if both basketball players and pickleballers are both looking to use the courts, you split the basketball court in half so both can play.

Looking forward to this great new addition to our town recreational space!
