The HSP Family Support Center recently organized a special shopping trip for families at Walmart, providing each household with a $200 budget for essentials like food, clothing, hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.

In addition to meeting immediate needs, the experience also gave parents an opportunity to practice budgeting and decision-making skills in a supportive environment. Families shared how meaningful it was to shop at their own pace while staff helped care for children and assist along the way.
