First day of school in the books! 🎒

It was great seeing the halls and cafeteria buzzing with energy again today. New year, new classes, new goals — Westminster Public Schools students are off to a great start.

At WPSF, we're glad to be part of a community that shows up for these kids, all year long. Here's to a great 2026-2027 school year!

What a morning! 🎒☀️

Our Backpack Giveaway wrapped up today, and seeing hundreds of WPS students walk away with a brand new backpack — fully stocked with school supplies — never gets old. There's nothing like watching a kid's face light up when they get to pick their own backpack for the year.

Starting the school year with the right tools makes a real difference. It's one less thing for families to worry about, and one more way our students can walk into their classrooms feeling ready and confident.

None of this happens without our incredible community. A huge thank you to every donor and sponsor who made today possible — your generosity is showing up on the backs (and backpacks!) of WPS kids today. 💙

Welcome to Westminster Public Schools! 💙

Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming nearly 60 new educators and other educational employees to Westminster Public Schools with a celebratory breakfast as they began four days of orientation ahead of the new school year.

Over the course of the week, these dedicated professionals wrapped up their orientation and are now preparing to welcome students back into our classrooms.

Teaching and supporting students is more than a job—it’s a calling. Every educator and staff member plays a vital role in inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and helping shape the future of our students. The relationships they build will have a lasting impact on the leaders, innovators, artists, and citizens of tomorrow.

To our newest WPS team members: Welcome! Your passion, dedication, and commitment to students will make a meaningful difference in our schools and throughout our community.

Today, we were honored to receive a $25,000 Community Enrichment Grant from the Adams County Board of Commissioners to support our Ready to Learn program. This investment will help remove basic needs barriers so Westminster Public Schools students can come to school ready to learn, thrive, and succeed.

We are incredibly grateful to the Adams County Commissioners for their partnership and their commitment to supporting students and families in our community. Together, we're creating brighter futures for Westminster students.
