On Sunday, July 27th at 12:00pm at the Jefferson Barnes Community Center in Norwayne, State Representative Dylan Wegela and Councilman Mike McDermott are hosting a community conversation with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. Dr. El-Sayed is a candidate for US Senate. This is not an endorsement of Dr. El-Sayed for US Senate as the Westland Democratic Club has not made any official endorsements.

This will be an open forum and community event where Westland residents can meet Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. You will have the opportunity to have a conversation with him, ask questions, and share your thoughts about the issues and ideas that matter most to you. Dr. El-Sayed will be presenting his vision for improving the quality of life for the people of Michigan and what he'll fight for as our next US Senator.

On Tuesday, June 24th at 4:30pm at the Jefferson Barnes Community Center in Norwayne, State Representative Dylan Wegela and Councilman Mike McDermott are hosting a community forum with Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson. Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson is running to be the next Governor of the State of Michigan. This is not an endorsement of Secretary of State Benson.

This will be an open, community event where residents and voters can show up to meet Secretary of State Benson and hear her vision for improving the quality of life for the people of Michigan. You will have the opportunity to ask important questions to her about the issues we all face and learn more about her plans for making Michigan a place where we all can thrive.
