Holiday Closing: In observance of Labor Day, the Library will be closed Saturday, September 5 through Monday, September 7. The Library will re-open on Tuesday, September 8 at 10 am.

Have you ever wondered where we get all the books for our book sales?

The vast majority of the books in our sales are donated by generous community members who drop off their loved, but no-longer-needed books, DVDs, CDs, and other media in our donation bin in the First Parish Church parking lot.

Before our Fall Book Sale (Sep 18-20), we'll be answering some commonly-asked questions.

Question #1: What do you do with the money you raise?

Answer: The Friends use the Book Sale proceeds to fund library programs for all ages, museum passes, digital collections, audiobooks and DVDs, and the Bestseller collection.

The Friends of the J.V. Fletcher Library will hold a Fall Book Sale on September 18, 19, and 20 at First Parish Church United, 48 Main St., Westford.

Fall Book Sale — Donations Welcome

The Friends' Fall Book Sale will take place on September 18, 19, and 20 at First Parish Church United, 48 Main St., Westford.

If you have gently used books and media to donate, we invite you to drop them off in our bin at the back of the church parking lot any time. To find out what items we accept, visit the Book Sale page at westfordlibraryfriends.org/fall-book-sale.

The Friends rely on your generous donation of these materials to stock our sales. Proceeds from these sales allow us to fund the programs and services library patrons enjoy!

Museum Pass Spotlight: Boston Children's Museum
