Appears we will be seeing the Big Boy pass the park this summer! 👀

In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, Big Boy, the world’s largest operating steam locomotive, will journey to Philadelphia for Fourth of July, with stops planned in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York and Pennsylvania.

Join us at the Erie Train Show, on March 2nd from 9a to 3p. Many vendors will be in attendance as well as local railroads and historical societies. A Railroad Motorcar will also be at the show for display, supplied by local members of NARCOA.

A celebration of life for RJ is planned to be held in the spring.

We will have a picnic and eulogy in RJ’s honor on September 21st, with dinner at 4:00pm.

We regret to share the passing of our friend RJ Augur last night. RJ was welcoming and friendly to everybody who visited the park, near and far, and could be seen everyday helping maintain the park and making it a great place for railfans to come enjoy the trains. We are all grateful to have been a friend, and we are thankful for RJ’s dedication in providing a place for us.
