Why should we trust a government that is actively erasing history at our historical sites to provide an accurate and whole account of our country's history? Images of quotes in comments.

Over the past year, President Trump has sought to scrub national monuments, museums, parks and other historical sites of markers that the administration claims casts the country's "founding principles and historical milestones in a negative light."

Banned book club is now virtual! Here is a testimonial from an attendee:

"I don't always get a chance to read the books, but I do feel so strongly about the issue of banned books and so I still like to attend. I've never felt I missed out or didn't fit in because I hadn't read it completely. The discussions are engaging and informative with a variety of perspectives. With Hunger Games, I literally just finished reading Cliff Notes before the meeting. While the book had never interested me, I now have an understanding of why it's likely been banned. Through the discussion, many parallels came to light to what is happening currently in our country and our world, and it is really thought provoking. Information has been posted for the next book (Looking for Alaska) which is a q***r story and set to discuss on Thursday 7/2. Now, on Google meetings, it's easy to get to and the hour flies by. I encourage anyone with the slightest interest to give it a try."
