UPDATED ⚠️ Air Quality Advisory
An Air Quality Advisory remains in effect today for Chautauqua County and Western New York. As of 11am Thursday, July 16th, air quality is currently in the Very Unhealthy range in much of the county.
When air quality reaches the Very Unhealthy range:
🫁 People with heart or lung disease, older adults, children, and teens should avoid all outdoor physical activity.
🏃 Everyone else should avoid strenuous outdoor activities, keep outdoor time short, and consider moving physical activities indoors or rescheduling them.
During periods of poor air quality, limiting your exposure can help reduce health risks. Stay informed, monitor local air quality conditions, and take precautions to protect yourself and your family.
