Congratulations to our six new police officers who graduated on Wednesday from the John H. Stamler Police Academy of Union County.
We wish them long, safe, and successful careers here in Westfield!
Yesterday afternoon, six recruits graduated from the John H. Stamler Police Academy.
Those recruits, now officers, included:
‣ Officer Robert Pulidore, #230
‣ Officer Joseph Walsh, #231
‣ Officer Vincent Powers, #232
‣ Officer Salvatore Gallo, #233
‣ Officer Zachary Bisignano, #234
‣ Officer Ryan Hatzlhoffer, #235
Officer Walsh was awarded:
⁃ 200 Club of Union County Award - Awarded to the cadet that attained the highest combined grade point average, 99.29%, in the areas of Emergency Vehicle Operations Control written score, First Responder written score, Fi****ms Training written and qualification score, and Physical Training written score.
Officer Gallo was awarded:
⁃ Officer Anthony F. Lordi, Jr. Memorial Award - Given by the Union County Prosecutor's Office for outstanding achievement in constitutional law.
⁃ Union County Police Chiefs Academic Achievement Award - Presented to the recruit with the highest overall academic average.
