On Oct 26th, we celebrated a decade at the new Senior Center with a day filled with dignitaries, refreshments, gifts for members of the Friends group, and entertainment by Sarah the Fiddler.

We had a great turnout to acknowledge ten years of enjoying this facility. Here is a video montage of the day:

On June 4th, 2025 the Friends of the Westfield Senior Center had their annual meeting. Members of the board were re-elected and the "state of the Friends group" was discussed.

Our favorite part was bestowing awards to three very important people from the community who are an immense help to our group.

These awards of appreciation were gifted to: Dan Welch, Jim Adams, and board member Harry Rock. The Friends group wishes to thank them once again for all of their support. The Westfield Senior Center wouldn't be the same without their help.

Last week the Friends group held their annual meeting and presented the following awards to three members of our community that go above and beyond to support our mission.

Members of our board of directors were excited to witness the ribbon cutting for the expansion of the Westfield Senior Center. Our fundraising efforts were instrumental in the original creation of the center, but our work never ends!

We fund things like programs, supplies, updates, repairs and NOW a lovely new office suite on the previously unfinished second floor! We are honored to be involved.

You don't need to live in Westfield or be a member of the center to attend.

Jimmy will be taking you on a Cruise Through the Fifties on Friday June 16th!

Last month we had the honor of presenting Friends of the Westfield Senior Center with a donation check to help with renovations on the second floor of the center.
We are proud to be apart of our community and look forward to many, many more opportunities to continue to make a positive impact for all!

Raffle calendar winner, Ned Callaghan, participates in our Male Call Tuesday/Thursday fitness class. He was thrilled and had a staff member take this photo. He said to feel free to pass it along to the Friends group for publicity purposes.

The previous winner of the Thunderbirds tickets was Kathleen Medeiros.
