Northwest Area Strike Team The Northwest Area Strike Team Additionally, we partner with with the City of Columbus Fire Division and consider them a great resource as well.

The Northwest Area Strike Team is the joint venture of 6 communities that cover the top portion of the I 270 corridor of Columbus Ohio. Grandview Heights, Norwich Township, Upper Arlington, Washington Township, Worthington and Westerville Fire Departments have worked closely for many years to provide regional Arson and Haz Mat response to not only the six communities but to those communities that each department has mutual aid agreements with.

Hazmat crews have been called to state Route 661 in southern Knox County after the report of a crash involving a tanker carrying acid.
