Township Administration offices are closed today in honor of Memorial Day.

As a result of the holiday, Rumpke collection will be delayed until Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Before each Memorial Day, members of the Parks Advisory Committee and Township Maintenance Department take time to honor the veterans laid to rest in our Township cemeteries by placing a new flag at each veteran’s grave and caring for the grounds.

A walk through these peaceful resting places reveals those who served our nation dating back to the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, and the Civil War.

Road construction can be a temporary inconvenience, but we are grateful to Delaware County Engineer, Delaware County, Ohio for prioritizing infrastructure and safety improvements in Genoa Township.

Lewis Center Road east of SR3 reopened Thursday (5/21). However, the section of Lewis Center Road between SR 3 and Worthington Road will then close beginning on Tuesday (5/26) until July 10, 2026. Genoa Baptist Church will only be accessible from Worthington Road near Via Florenza Drive during this time.

All work is weather permitting. Motorists are advised to follow posted detours.
