Auditions for Disney's Camp Rock, the Musical, are just around the corner! Students who have completed grades 3-8 are encouraged to participate at the Westerville Community Center (350 N. Cleveland Ave.) on Saturday, June 6, or Sunday, June 7, from 2-5 p.m. on both days.

Presented by the Westerville Parks and Recreation Civic Theatre, the production will be held on Friday, Aug. 28 and Saturday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. at Alum Creek Park N. Amphitheater.

During the spring Shredding Day event in early May 2026, community members dropped off 18,190 pounds of recyclable paper, resulting in the conservation of the following resources:

- 155 trees
- 3,456 gallons of oil
- 63,665 gallons of water
- 43,656 kilowatt hours of energy
- 46 cubic yards of landfill space

Franklin County Emergency Management and Homeland Security has canceled the weekly warning siren test in Franklin County today, Wednesday, May 27, due to the risk of heavy rain that could damage the system. If the sirens do sound, it means the National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for the area, and residents should take immediate action to seek shelter and stay safe.

There's still time to purchase tickets for the Westerville Parks and Recreation Civic Theatre's production of Dare to Dream, Jr., a Disney Musical R***e. The show will run Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, at 7 p.m. on both nights at the Alum Creek Park N. Amphitheater. An ASL interpreter will be present May 30.
