**POOL CLOSED THURSDAY DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER THREAT**
The pool will be closed Thursday, June 11, due to a significant tornado threat in the area. The safety of guests and team members remains the park’s top priority. The decision to close was made out of an abundance of caution as severe weather conditions are expected to impact the region today. Patrons are encouraged to monitor local weather updates and follow guidance from emergency management and weather officials.

Park management appreciates guests’ understanding and cooperation and looks forward to welcoming visitors back when conditions are safe.



Current forecasts for the Chicago metro area indicate:

* Damaging winds are the biggest concern.
* Large hail is possible.
* Tornadoes are possible, including the potential for a few stronger tornadoes if storms remain discrete before forming into lines.
* Northern Illinois and the Chicago area are within a heightened severe weather risk area today, with forecasters specifically mentioning tornado potential this afternoon and evening.

Provided weather-related emergencies do not continue, the pool will reopen at 5:45 PM and close at 7:30 PM. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as weather conditions necessitated temporary closures.
