It's a beautiful morning in the gardens, and we find ourselves in a time of transition. Since most of our spring flowers are gone, and our summer flowers are still budding, things might look a little monochromatic, but there are a lot of different shades of green to see! And if you look closely, you might see some interesting pollinators--today we saw a black swallowtail caterpillar, and a narcissus bulb fly. Stop by soon to catch the Joe Pye w**d, purple coneflower, common milkw**d, white wild indigo, and prairie roses at all stages of opening, and the serviceberry starting to fruit!
