🌟 A Few Openings at You ‘N’ Me Nursery School! 🌟

The You ‘N’ Me Nursery School at the Westbrook Regional Vocational Center has a few openings available for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old children!

Our Education Pathways Program operates a hands-on lab nursery school Monday–Wednesday, providing children with a fun, engaging, play-based learning environment while giving our high school students valuable experience working with young children.

💰 There is a small fee to attend.

Attention Car lovers!! On October 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. WRVC is hosting a Car Show! If you want to compete for Best Classic or Best Sports Car, it is a $5 entry fee. If you want the PREMIUM Package (which includes entry fee, Automotive Swag and ONE FREE meal) the cost is $25. Register when you arrive! We will be having a cookout with food available for purchase! Please share this with your friends and family!

There was a lot of excitement today as we got the privilege of gifting DONATED BRUNT Workwear clothing to many students! Because of BRUNT our students will be able to stay warmer and be better equipped to work in all kinds of weather! We are so grateful!!! THANK YOU BRUNT!!!

With our new management system for Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs) students are device free from arrival to departure. For students who arrive early, that has been a bit of a challenge They spoke to WRVC administrators and generated ideas of ways that WRVC could help students engage more with each other. Their ideas included having games, puzzles and art supplies. We are excited our students are advocating for themselves and each other! Because of them, we have begun making our student lounge a bit more interactive. We anticipate we will continue to add new things as we go.

Throughout the summer WRVC will be posting some photos from the 2025-2026 School Year. It is fun to look back at things that our students experienced!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Cosmetology! Towards the end of the year our Tech II students provided treatments to the Tech I students. This was a great day for all! Tech II students got to utilize their skills and the Tech I students were pampered while also getting to see how far they will progress by the time they finish their second year!

Throughout the summer WRVC will be posting some photos from the 2025-2026 School Year. It is fun to look back at things that our students experienced!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday' features Medical Occupations! Our medical occupation students are trained in so many areas! On this day they were working on dissections! This is one example of how students can earn integrated credits at WRVC. Students in our Medical Occupations Program can earn integrated credits for Science, Math and English!

Today's 'Throwback Thursday, in honor of the 4th of July, features our First Responder Programs, EMT, Fire Fighting and Criminal Justice.

From learning how to properly load patients into the ambulance and working as a team to put the firehose away, to volunteering at Wreaths Across America and presenting the flags as part of the color guard at our end of the year ceremony, these students learned a lot and supported our communities along the way!
