September is packed with fun at Walker Memorial Library!

Looking for something to do this month? The Library has programs and activities for babies, kids, teens, adults, and everyone in between.

Family Storytimes and Baby Lapsit return the first week of September, along with Kids’ Crafternoons, Pokémon Club, Silly Science, Sit and Stitch, Adult/Teen Crafting, Silent Book Club, and more!

Whether you’re looking for a fun activity with the kids, a chance to get creative, an opportunity to meet new people, or your next great read, there’s something for everyone at Walker Memorial Library this September.

Adult & Teen Craft | 10:30 AM–12:30 PM
Come make beautiful book-page flowers! It’s a creative way to give old book pages a new life while enjoying some time in our gorgeous Historic Wing.

Saturday Afternoon Cat Movie | 2 PM
Every Saturday in August, join the Walker Memorial Library for a cat-themed movie starting at 2 PM. Free popcorn and candy!

This Saturday’s movie hint: Two dogs and a cat go on an incredible journey to return home to their beloved family. Rated G.

Can you save the plants before it's too late?

Join the Walker Memorial Library for their Family Escape Room: Protect the Plants! from August 3–14!

Something has gone terribly wrong at the endangered plant greenhouse—the keys to the plant supplies and thermostat have disappeared! Work together to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and find the missing keys before the plants wither away.

This fun, family-friendly escape room is designed primarily for kids and is perfect for anyone who loves puzzles, teamwork, and a good challenge!

Session Times:
• Monday–Thursday: 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., & 3:00 p.m.
• Friday: 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.

Each adventure takes one hour or less.

Age Guidelines:
• Ages 5–12 with a parent/caregiver
• Ages 13+ may participate on their own or with a parent/caregiver

Groups are limited to 8 participants, and registration is required.
