Since February 2025, Jon has shown up for 30+ volunteer shifts, giving over 100 hours of his time to Furniture Friends. Most Saturdays, you’ll find him helping with donation pick-ups and drop-offs—working alongside staff, climbing in and out of the box truck, and bringing a steady, helpful presence that keeps furniture moving through our warehouse.

Our warehouse is currently going through some exciting changes that have required extra hands, and Jon stepped up in a big way by helping with our major warehouse transition, lending his time, strength, and steady presence during a busy period of change for us.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything he brings to Furniture Friends. Thank you, Jon 💛

We are currently using 166 Riverside to temporarily store furniture donations and will be operating out of this warehouse space for the rest of June.

Please bring all community furniture donations to this location during our drop off times.

Huge THANK YOU to the students and faculty from Canisius High School for spending two full days with us this past Tuesday and Wednesday! 💙

This all-boys Jesuit school from Buffalo, NY brings service to life through the Companions Program, juniors travel to serve communities in need in Montana and Maine, and we were so grateful to be one of their stops.

Your hard work, positive energy, and willingness to jump in made a real impact in our warehouse and for the families we serve.
