Here is the summer read for the Spring and Fall History Book Group. We will meet and discuss it in September so there is plenty of time to get a copy. Nationally known but Massachusetts based author Jill Lepore tells the story of Jane Franklin, Benjamin's sister whom he faithfully corresponded with his entire adult life. Please put September 15th on your calendar, 10AM at the Sibley House, 13 Parkman Street.

Thursday, MAY 14, 7 pm: Living History: "Meet John Adams - A Lively and Revolutionary Conversation with America's Second President"

In a spirited performance, George Baker presents John Adams and incidents in his life, including the Boston Massacre Trial of 1770. This “Living History” focuses on President Adams' wit, legal background, and family life with Abigail.

George Baker brings President John Adams to life in historically accurate costume, highlighting the Founding Father's views on history, society, and his famous friendship with Thomas Jefferson.

Co-sponsored by the Willows. To be held at the Willows Community Room, One Lyman Street, Westborough.

Admission: Free and open to all.

Monday, APRIL 27, 2026 at 7 pm - "Revolution Comes to Westborough"
Historian and colonial printer Gary Gregory discusses how revolutionary Boston's Committee of Safety and the Provincial Congress alerted the people in rural MA towns to plan and create a revolution against British rule. Westborough documents, as well as Town Meeting notes, show how the people of Westborough were transformed from subjects of an empire to free citizens of a new republic!
Program will be held at 13 Parkman Street, Westborough, MA. Street parking is available on Parkman Street. Free and Open to the Public.
