Friends of the Westborough Public Library Be a Friend! Join us for upcoming meetings, help out with a special event, or just "Follow" our page to keep up with what we're doing.

The mission of the Friends of the Westborough Public Library is to stimulate the use of the library and its resources; to sponsor programs designed to add to the cultural life of the community; to provide direct financial assistance by purchasing for the library special and unusual items which have not been provided for in the budget, but which the Friends deem beneficial to the library; and to support and enlarge the library’s scope in the community and to provide the library with passes to various local museums which can be loaned to library patrons.

We’re moving home!

The Westborough Public Library is getting ready to return to 55 West Main Street!

Here’s what you need to know:

September 9–23: Limited services at 1500 Union Street. Public printing will be unavailable, with limited Wi-Fi and computer access.

September 15: Last day to place new holds for pickup at Westborough.

September 23 at 5 PM: Our temporary location closes for the move.

First week of November: We’re planning to reopen at 55 West Main Street!

During the closure, you can continue to use your Westborough library card at other C/W MARS libraries and access our digital resources.

As we welcome crisp fall air, changing leaves, and cozy reading weather, it may be time to say goodbye to outdoor book sales for the season. 🍁
