** Traffic Alert ** Westborough Medic 4 is responding to an auto accident on the Massachusetts Turnpike eastbound in Southborough at the 108 mile marker. Expect delays or consider an alternate route.

Westborough Firefighters assigned to Group 4 and the District 14 Dive Team are operating at Crystal Pond in the Town of Southborough for a reported drowning. Squad 1 and Marine 1 are committed on scene.

Westborough Engine 3 and Medic 4 (Group 1) just delivered a baby girl in a residence on the west side of the community. Mom and baby are doing well!! Strong work by Mom and the on-duty firefighters.

Westborough Firefighters are currently working:

1) Rollover Crash with injuries on Interstate 495
2) Medical call on Flanders Road
3) Medical call on Lyman Street
4) Fire incident on Otis Street
5) Medical call on Beach Street

There are 9 firefighters on duty serving the community and no remaining shift members to respond to three of these incidents. Multiple mutual aid from abutting communities are subsidizing our responses. Thank you Northborough Fire Department, Hopkinton FF Local 3772, Southborough Fire Department for assisting our town.
